9/11: The Final Transmissions

Through air traffic control recordings, emergency communications and telephone calls from passengers and crew, the events of September 11, 2001 are reconstructed through the voices of those who experienced them. As four aircraft are hijacked, controllers, military personnel and those aboard the planes struggle to understand an unprecedented attack unfolding in real time, exposing procedures never designed to handle a crisis of this scale.
